Software 13 is a full time freelance software development company based just outside of London in the United Kingdom. We have close to two decades of programming experience, and provide a wide range of outsourcing services to our customers. In addition to this we also maintain a number of in house projects that range from small software components to large fully functional programs and websites, most of which are eventually released into the public domain or sold to third parties.
We pride ourselves in offering a friendly, down to earth, but at the same time professional service to our customers and never hesitate to answer any questions, give advice or go beyond the traditional requirements of a project. Whether it's a website you're looking for, or a complete custom application or database, we are confident we can provide what you are looking for at a service and price you'll find hard to beat. We can provide solutions in most major languages, in particular C/C++, Java, PHP, Perl and Python. We are specialists in cross platform development, and as such unless a specific requirement is made, most of the code we produce is developed and tested under both Windows and Linux, meaning our customers can often utilize our solutions on the platform of their choice with minimal effort. Also all of the code we produce is covered by a lifetime guarantee, meaning should you experience any problems or simply need some advice at any point during the lifetime of your project, we won't leave you hanging. So whether it's a bit of homework help, a simple bug fix or a fully fledged system you need, get in touch with us and we'll be more than happy to discuss your requirements! News

23-Jul-09: SSHSummary 0.1 Released
In response to a staggering number of intrusion attempts on our servers recently, we've developed a quick Python script to assist in the parsing and collection of statistical data to automate the process of tracking them. The script is designed to operate from a cronscript under Linux and parses the system log files, recording information about each attack and storing it in a MySQL database. It also generates an optional summary e-mail upon each run detailing the number of attempts made and the highest offenders. Although it has been developed mainly for internal use, we've released it for free under the GPL for anyone who might find it useful. Click here to find out more.
